REVIEW: Zombies, Aliens, and Meat-Eating Vegetarians by Mireille Chester

In the midst of an apocalypse, Gabby, Lane, and their crew decide that staying at their shop is the best option, but when a provisions run goes wrong, they are forced to face the reality of the situation. They’re also forced to examine what’s going on with Max and what it means for them.

Title:  Zombies, Aliens, and Meat-Eating Vegetarians
Series:  Angered Seasons
Book #: 2
Author:  Mireille Chester
Approximate Book Length:  90 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  16+
Sexual Content:  Mild

In this chapter of the Angered Seasons saga, we follow Gabby as she copes with everything happening around her. Her companions relive memories of loved ones dying, deal with a supply shortage, and experience death among their group. Theories are tossed about as to what’s going on in the outside world and what’s causing it, but it all comes down the final pages, when we find out what Max is really all about.

Mireille Chester does it again with an emotionally charged and tension filled sequel. Sometimes I had a little trouble following all the extra characters in the group, but overall the characters are vivid, their trials make you want to cry right along with them, and the suspense keeps you guessing. I love truly not being able to guess what’s going to happen next and being utterly clueless as to what’s truly going on and what the catalyst was that caused it. I do love that it seems to be affecting the vegetarians first, ha!

In Conclusion:

This exciting survival adventure will keep you on the edge of your seat as you face a zombie apocalypse the likes of which you’ve never seen. Grab a blanket and some ice water as Angered Seasons will take you on a ride from one extreme to the other, keeping you on your proverbial toes!
