New Feature?

So as many if not all of you know, I'm very pregnant.  I'm about 31 weeks out of 40 so I'm in the home stretch so to speak!  I feel like this is such a natural yet life changing experience and I have learned so much on this journey and I wouldn't mind sharing it.  Now that might just stem from taking a Bradley method birthing class and hearing birth stories and all and being like "this is so awesome, but overwhelming too and I should totally share my experiences" etc etc.
Anyway, I'm thinking of writing a serial feature for the blog about my pregnancy and later the birth.  And I don't just mean the "magic" and "joy" of pregnancy, but the nitty gritty reality that is having a baby.  There's so many things that people don't talk about until it's too late to change your mind lol.  The discomforts of pregnancy are MANY...  It might be informative to some people, it'd be good for me to get back into writing and in a con…

REVIEW: More by TM Franklin

Summary:Ava Michaels used to think she was special. As a child, she fantasized about having magical powers . . . making things happen. But Ava grew up and eventually accepted the fact that her childish dreams were just that, and maybe a normal life wasn't so bad after all. What he shows Ava challenges her view of the world, shaking it to its very core. Because Caleb isn't quite what he seems. In fact, he's not entirely human, and he's not the only one. Together, the duo faces a threat from an ancient race bound to protect humans, but only after protecting their own secrets—secrets they fear Ava may expose. BLOG TOUR: Dark Dawn by Melissa Brodsky & Nicole Andrews Moore

Congrats to Melissa Brodsky and Nicole Andrews Moore on their release of Dark Dawn! For your reading pleasure, here's a glimpse of their angelic story!

In the beginning God made the heavens and the earth, and everything in between. The In-between was unplanned, unexpected, and unwelcome. Every action causes a reaction and when mankind was born, so were the Fae. Suddenly it was up to Heaven to save Earth. God created Angels to right his wrong, to save human kind. A deal was made, an agreement of sorts. The Angels would protect humanity from Fae domination and destruction, and in return they would have inhuman strength and immortality. Thus a time of angels swooping in to save humans from free will, bad decisions, and big mistakes began. They protected humans from the Fae who intentionally enslaved them, leaving shells of humans, or worse, leaving nothing at all.

Even God doesn’t always learn from mistakes. Angels were given freedom of choice. Some An…

BLOG TOUR: The Reversing Worlds Trilogy by JT Brown

Thanks to Bewitching Book Tours for hosting this blog tour. I have JT Brown here talking about The Reversing Worlds Trilogy. Welcome!
The Reversing Worlds Trilogy
The Reversing Worlds Trilogy, holds a special treasure within the stories. It is based on an actually place in Downeast, Maine. I recognized this phenomenon when I was a child, lobster/crap fishing with my father. Although, Reversing Falls leaves many people wondering what causes the small whirlpools and the rough terrain. It is a dangerous place that most avoid, but for the Maine fishermen this is a place where they can’t avoid, it is a passage through to greater waters. The creation of Reversing Worlds was actually created years ago, it just took a while to catch up to me. I remember as a child, holding tight to the stern as the boat shifted through the water tornadoes, pushing us side to side, as we made our way through. I remember looking over the side wondering and wanting to tell my tale…

BLOG TOUR: Twisted by Rebecca Zanetti

Thanks to Book Monster Promotions for hosting this blog tour. I'm spotlighting the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti today. Happy reading!

The Kayrs family leads not only the vampire nation, but also the Realm, which is a coalition of vampires, shifters, and witches. Years ago, an evil vampire race called the Kurjans declared war on the Realm by creating a deadly virus that infects vampire mates. The virus attacks chromosomal pairs and takes mates from immortal to human, and maybe down to death. No cure for the virus has been found for mates, and the vampires, who are male only, know that time is running short.

In addition, the demons declared war on the Realm, going so far as to kidnap the youngest Kayrs brother and torture him for five years. He has been rescued, damaged but still alive. The eldest Kayrs, the king, is out for revenge, no matter the cost.

The prophets of all the races predicted the coming of a young psychic named Jani…

BLOG TOUR: Girls Love Travis Walker by Anne Pfeffer

Thanks to Reading Addiction Blog Tours for hosting this blog tour. I have Anne Pfeffer, author of Girls Love Travis Walker here today talking about expectations. Welcome!
What to Expect When You Read Girls Love Travis Walker
Readers often tell me my books surprised them. They say there was a lot more there than they’d expected, a lot more story and emotion. I don’t set out to make my books unpredictable or unusual, but that’s how they seem to end up.

Fortunately, most people (or the ones who write letters and reviews, anyway) are happily surprised. But because I’d like you to know what you’re getting, I thought I’d try to explain this book a little and tell you what early readers are saying.

To understand Girls Love Travis Walker, think of Will Smith’s film The Pursuit of Happyness (a man struggling to keep his family off the streets), combined with a classic romance novel (boy meets, loses, and gets girl), combined with a main character like Tim Rig…
