REVIEW: Stranded Temptation by April Angel

Kara is fed up with her boss. He’s a robotic workaholic and he’s dragging her down, no matter how hot he is! Then their plane crashes. Feeling alive, they live out their fantasies with each other while they have the chance, just in case. Max wants Kara and has for a long time, but hasn’t wanted to mix business with pleasure, but throws that all away when they live through the crash. Back in the real world Max struggles to show Kara that they can have a relationship, but neither realize that their danger doesn’t so much involve love anymore, but their very lives.

I really enjoyed this story! It’s funny, sassy, and compelling, and I couldn’t get enough. The buildup to the final confrontation was good, the injuries and recovery time for Kara were realistic, and overall things weren’t horribly predictable, which is always nice! The epilogue was adorable and worth every second even if the rest of the book wasn’t awesome too.

I do have two things to say that aren’t glowing though, but I wouldn’t call them complaints either. I don’t know how plausible it is that they jumped right into the sack after the plane crashes, but I’ve never been in that situation and it was pretty hot anyway, so I’ll shut up on that one! The other is the catalyst for all the attacks on Kara. My leading theory was never brought up as a possibility and I couldn’t believe it! I won’t say what it was, just in case it doesn’t cross anyone else’s mind either, but that was pretty surprising to me when they went in every direction but what I felt was a very obvious one.

In Conclusion:

Overall, Stranded Temptation is a very sexy, exciting, and well written book that any contemporary romance fan should love. I will definitely be on board for reading more from this author!
