REVIEW: Forever by Rebecca Royce

Werewolf Devin came back from the Dragon Wars changed. He’s lost touch with his wolf side and he’s little more than a walking corpse on meds for his injured leg. Lena has known since she was a child that Devin was her mate, but with her life and home falling apart around her can she cope with just how much the Dragon Wars came home with Devin?

Title:  Forever
Series:  The Dragon Wars
Book #: 1
Author:  Rebecca Royce
Approximate Book Length:  52 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  18+
Sexual Content:  Moderate

I really enjoyed this story! The world building was great, and the relationship building was too; I loved the dynamic that Devin and Lena had. Devin’s family really makes you appreciate your loved ones (at least the ones that don’t drive you mad lol), and Lena’s home life kind of breaks your heart.

I thought that the war veteran scenarios were realistic and it’s pretty disheartening to think of what people go through after fighting in a war of any kind. Watching Devin pick up the pieces was incredibly endearing.

The ending was predictable, but satisfying. It did feel kind of truncated though. I can’t wait for the next book, and it better pick up right where this one left off so we see what happens with their families and the war!

In Conclusion:

Compelling, romantic, and addictive, Forever will have you enthralled from beginning to end. I definitely recommend it to any paranormal romance fan!
