REVIEW: Stories by Dirk Tyler and Kameron Brook

Title:  Welcome to the Neighborhood
Author:  Dirk Tyler & Kameron Brook
Approximate Book Length:  22 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  18+
Sexual Content:  Explicit

Thoughts:

A woman moves into a house about three months prior to when the story picks up, and her two sexy neighbors have been lusting after her from day one. What they don’t realize is that she’s been lusting after them too.

There’s no elaborate plot and minimal background on the characters, yet there’s plenty enough to feel some connection to the characters and stay invested in the outcome, which is impressive for a story so short. The only part I had a little trouble with was that the men, one more than the other, often seemed kind of dominant, but it didn’t feel like it was completely consistent.

Other than that I really enjoyed it for what it was, a very sexy short story. It wasn’t merely a single scene, but a few key moments (mostly very hot ones) from the characters’ lives with a very sweet ending.

Title:  Girls' Night Out
Author:  Kameron Brook
Approximate Book Length:  16 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  18+
Sexual Content:  Explicit

Thoughts:

A girl’s getting ready to go out to a movie with her friend, stressing over her crush on said friend having no idea that the night might hold the very ending of which she’s dreaming.

This time frame spans only one night, but more than a single heated scene. You’ll find some shower action, a daring public display of affection, and a very sexy interlude that is only the beginning for them both.

I was actually really into this story, more than I thought I’d be. It was very sensual, and the entire tone of the story had a softer tone than your normal erotic romance stories. I guess that’s the point of loving a woman though, the softer feel. The story is truly endearing and hot and definitely left me wanting more.

Title:  Voyeur
Author:  Dirk Tyler
Approximate Book Length:  15 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  18+
Sexual Content:  Explicit

Thoughts:

A man is out of town and is missing his wife when a man hits on him in the hotel bar. He and his wife have an agreement regarding bringing someone into their bed, so they devise a devious plan to make sure no one is left out.

Wicked fun is the first phrase that comes to mind while reading this story. Sinfully erotic and even sweet to balance out, you’ll be left grinning and wanting more…and possibly a cold shower (unless you have better options *wink*) by the time you finish reading about the night these characters share.

Title:  New Beginnings
Author:  Dirk Tyler & Kameron Brook
Approximate Book Length:  22 Pages
Recommended Reader Age:  18+
Sexual Content:  Explicit

Thoughts:

A married couple decide they want to spice up their love life by trying swinging and their journey to finding just the right couple ends with a meeting that takes a rather delicious turn to a happy ending.

I LOVED this story. The married dynamic is relatable and I appreciated the teasing and sharing of fantasies and even histories. The couple is very bold and their experiences throughout the pages are oh so hot (seriously!). I can’t even decide what else to share without ruining the pleasure of reading it, so I will just say that my only disappointment was that it ended when it did; I wanted more!

In Conclusion:

Overall, every story held me riveted and wishing for more. I was enthralled and absolutely look forward to more from both of these authors! Whether it spans one night or hits the highlights over time and regardless of lover combination (ménage, gay/lesbian, or traditional m/f) I know that I’m sure to enjoy the characters and their exploits one way or another.
