REVIEW: One Grave at a Time by Jeaniene Frost

Having narrowly averted an (under)world war, Cat Crawfield wants nothing more than a little downtime with her vampire husband, Bones. Unfortunately, her gift from New Orleans' voodoo queen just keeps on giving-leading to a personal favor that sends them into battle once again, this time against a villainous spirit.

This is another one that wasn’t among my favorites in the series, but they can’t all be amazing. There is yet again a lot going on, but some of it is background noise for the most part in the set up for the next book. The big conflict here is a ghost named Kramer. He’s a special brand of evil and hatred for him drives everything. Fabian gets a girlfriend (cute and weird) and she’s the one that brings him to Cat’s attention. All the ensuing trouble is a little crazy. A hotel gets wrecked, there’s a dragon, and Cat ends up on fire.

Bottom Line:

One Grave at a Time is a ghostly adventure with a sexy flight and a few naked fights.
